John A. Barry, PhD is a clinical hypnotherapist, chartered psychologist, professional researcher, and an honorary lecturer in psychology. After certificate training with the London College of Clinical Hypnosis, and receiving a diploma in Clinical Hypnosis from the Psychotherapy and Hypnosis Training Association at Regent’s College (now Regent’s University), Dr Barry started his hypnotherapy practice in London in 1999.
After completing his PhD in biological / health psychology (City, University of London), he worked as a researcher at University College London (UCL) and became a member of the prestigious British Society of Clinical and Academic Hypnosis (BSCAH).
