Emily VerMeer is an experienced writer and poet who published her first book in 2023. During her childhood, she struggled to have her voice heard over the chaos of life. Emily’s writing is her space to have her voice heard and an attempt to give a voice to the ones who feel invisible. She wants to write content that would have helped her when she was younger and struggling with the growing pains of becoming an adult.

When Emily is not writing, she can be found walking her dogs or spending the night bowling at the local bowling alley. She enjoys reading romance novels and having deep conversations. Her career goals are to become a successful writer full-time.

Emily founded and writes for her blog SmallTownGirlsJourney as well as publishing her own book on Amazon. She is always accepting new clients through her freelance writing business where she writes on nearly every topic.
