Howard Diamond

Since November 2017, Howard Diamond has been a New York State Certified Peer Specialist from Nassau County. Currently, he is not employed due to visual issues, which cause severe headaches. Also, he has nerve damage affecting his lower extremities, mostly on his left side.

For the last several years, Howard has been writing articles about mental health issues from a peer community perspective. Most of these writings are about recovery – his own story filled with his brand of humour and a slice of life that can be appreciated by most people.
