It is all too often said that people with disabilities are not capable of very much, and they are unable to rise to the challenges that they are faced with. That’s not true.

Autism’s Got Talent (AGT) is a platform given to talented individuals with autism that grew from Anna Kennedy’s anti-bullying campaign ‘Give Us a Break‘. This show enables autistic performers to showcase their skills and talents.

AGT not only has soloists, but people also perform in groups, which is something many people are quick to judge as impossible for those on the spectrum. Not only are these talented, amazing individuals proving their critics wrong, they are also having fun and achieving so much.

Anna Kennedy Online is excited to announce the Autism’s Got Talent 2019 Roadshow performers who will showcase their talents at the Winston Churchill Theatre in Ruislip

AGT is a celebration of a variety of talents performed by children and adults diagnosed with autism. Talent entries are totally mind blowing and Anna Kennedy Online has included acts from overseas: US, Canada, Sweden, Croatia, and across the UK.

With more than 500,000 people diagnosed with autism in the UK it is easy to simply label these people. The fact is that autism is an often-misunderstood disorder and while it can be difficult for those affected to express themselves they are often highly intelligent and able people who can achieve extraordinary things – but often in their own way.

Recognising the uniqueness of those with autism Anna Kennedy, who has two sons with the condition, has worked tirelessly to find ways of recognising the ability – not the disability – in these individuals.

The event is one of the ways of recognising such abilities, and will showcase the performing talents of a whole host of talents. This whole concept is based solely on inclusion and there needs to be more, which is why AGT has started roadshows and set to go to Cornwall in 2019.

Unlike other talent shows the evening will have many surprises and delights as children and adults showcase and perform before a live audience. This star-studded spectacular event will showcase amazingly talented performances by adults and children with autism.

The performers, which will consist of singers, actors, musicians, and dance troupes, will fly the flag for autism and show what people with autism and Asperger syndrome are capable of.

Supported in the past by celebrities including Katie Price, Harvey Price, Richard Mylan, Robin Windsor, Kasey Ainsworth, John Paul Rock Horsley, Dame Esther Rantzan, John Bercow , Carrie and David Grant, Debbie Moore OBE, Ian Royce, Dr Pam Spurr, Steve Hewlett, Mitch Winehouse, Denise Welch, Lauren Lovejoy, Caprice, The Gilbey family (Googlebox), Emma Noble and many many more.

AGT, which is an annual event, is growing in popularity each year, and 2019 has firmly cemented its status as a leading charity and autism event. You can book your tickets online, or at the box office.
